And Miss France 2016 is … Iris Mittenaere ! Dressed in Sophie Hallette lace, as we announced earlier.
An official partner for the election of Miss France 2016, Sophie Hallette was present on stage at the Zenith in Lille for the December 19th ceremony. The jury included singers (the highly-mediatized Kendji Girac, winner of “The Voice” and Patrick Fiori, coach for “The Voice Kids” show and the divine Anggun), an actress (Laetitia Milot, from the “Plus belle la vie” soap opera), an athlete (the man who’s everywhere, Frédéric Michalak, rugbyman on the XV de France team) and… Chloé Mortaud, Miss France 2009.
A pivotal event, the election of Miss France is also a key element in our national heritage : an annual fairytale … a show with a positive spirit that is synonymous with beauty, elegance and dreams ! It is thus natural, and with enormous pleasure, that Sophie Hallette joins the party. An occasion to pursue its policy of aiding creation as it supports the young couture designer in charge of dressing (notably) the three finalists : Nicolas Fafiotte.
This Lyon native often uses Sophie Hallette laces for his wedding or evening dresses. For the Miss France finale, he wanted to make dream dresses and for this … he needed dream laces ! His entirely handmade creations promise to be spectacular and give a true measure to his talents while showing, once again, the vitality and virtuosity of Sophie Hallette’s workshops : magical laces, extraordinary embroideries, intense colorways … perfect settings for the beautiful contestants.
